The Bitter End by Ann Evans and Robert D.Tysall

Paul finally has his life back on track. After losing his wife, Helena in a horrific car crash, he has found love with Sally and moves into her country cottage.
As a former high-ranking Naval Officer, Paul now works as Head of Security at MI5.
Paul has no memories from before he was ten years old. An accident left him in a coma for 9 months.  But was it really an accident?
Soon Paul starts to have flashes of childhood memories, all involving his childhood friend, Owen.
Sally introduces him to her friend, Juliet, the owner of a craft shop. Paul is shocked when he is introduced to Juliet’s partner, his old friend Owen.
Flashes of memories continue to haunt Paul, particularly the memory of his first wife Helena burning in the car crash.
As dark things start to happen, and local people begin dying in horrific accidents, Paul must face his past and will end up fighting for his life.

It's my pleasure to be one of the hosts of the blog blitz for The Bitter End by Ann Evans and Robert D. Tysa…

Review Policy

Thank you for taking the time to read my review policy. I am UK based blogger, but am very happy to consider books reviewing published worldwide and will accept submissions from publishers, PR companies and authors. I can read either print or ebooks. I love crime fiction but also enjoy SFF, historical, contemporary and women's fiction, YA, and some non-fiction, particularly memoirs. I'm also willing to read outside my preferred genres should the blurb entice me! I enjoy sharing books with my youngest daughter so I can also review books aimed at the 9-13 year old market; she prefers exciting adventure and/or fantasy stories with strong protagonists. I occasionally read romance but no erotica please. I love taking part in blog tours and can usually provide a review but am also happy to feature guest posts or to host a Q&A with the author.
I usually have several books lined up so if you would like a book reviewed by a certain date I will require at least three months' notice. If you don't have a date in mind I will add your book to my tbr list but please be aware it may be several months before I'm able to read and review it. Blogging about books is a hobby I am passionate about but I also have a job and a family so I may not be able to accept all requests. Please note if I don't reply to your request within two weeks then regretfully I'm unable to review your book. If you require a post for a particular date but I'm unable to offer a review, I am happy to feature an original guest post of your choosing or an extract from your book.
My reviews are always honest but I prefer not to post negative reviews so if your book is not for me I will contact you to explain this. I believe all books have their audience and sometimes I'm just not it! I will never ask for any payment for my reviews and I am not part of any affiliate program.
I can be contacted through the form in the sidebar on the home page of this blog, via email at hairpastafrecklebookreviews@gmail.com or via @karlou on Twitter.

Please include the following information
Title and author of book
Publisher (if applicable)
Description
Publication date if not already published
UK cover picture (if applicable)
Author's bio & photo
Links to the author's website and social media pages (if applicable)

I share my reviews to Twitter, Facebook, Goodreads, Pinterest, Instagram and Amazon UK.

I look forward to hearing from you!

  1. You've certainly read some best-sellers! Your Review Policy is clearly set out, and I think it is kind of you never to post negative reviews.
